This is my very first blogpost and I'm not sure what I should say...
...well, I played around a little with all the settings and ended up with the blog looking like it does now. Can't say the background I chose is so great, but you have to agree that beating that lime-green background was fairly easy :P The background was supposed to give the reader an 'asian vibe'. I guess I failed... Well over to you guys, Ruut&Hanna, to find a better one.
I tried uploading a photo that would send a message along the lines of "we're taking this trip seariously and we have a realistic idea of what we're getting in to" instead of the "want to read about three girls who get sent home 4 months and 25 days early becase they thougt this was like last years family trip to Gran Canaria?" message we now boast so proudly with. The first statement might not be true, but we could at least have a representable picture up there! On the other hand the picture does lower everyone's expectations for this blog and for our abilities to deal in the big world. And maybe that's for the better, we don't want anyone taking us for professional backpackers and then sue us for any misleading information we might post on this blog!
Well anyway, the photo stays for now because I was unable to figure out from where I would find a picture. I rarely(read never) have a camera with me and as a consequence I don't have any photos.
Thats all I have to ramble on about for now. So long!

Hey Ruut and Sophia!
So, don't worry, this blog is yet a joke, but I'd like you to, IF you find the time and will (Fia, I know you've got the time!!! Ruut, you don't need to!) fool around a little with it.
I mean... I'd love to have our journey documented as well as possible, since I think it will be rather once in a lifetime.... and pictures, videos, texts... the blog is a perfect place for that, plus keeping your worried crew back at home at ease and on top of things, sorta, so we don't spend a billion on phonebills.
So, whatcha say, are you cool with the blogging thing?
If, what do you want our blog to look like? What's the tone, serious?
The layout, the introduktion.... everything! :D
I know we've got more important stuff to think about, but we did get a couple readers with the kenya blogg.... so a representative blog would be nice ;)
